Meeting Scheduler Widget Settings Overview

Table Of Content

The Meeting Scheduler widget puts a booking calendar from an outside service straight onto an Elementor page, so a visitor can pick a slot without leaving your site. You keep your calendar where it already is; the widget only embeds it.

This page is the map of the widget: what the one Select dropdown changes, which fields belong to which service, and what actually lands on the page. The step-by-step pages for each service are linked at the bottom.

Requirement – This widget is a part of The Plus Addons for Elementor, make sure it’s installed & activated to enjoy all its powers.

Before You Start

  • Edition: Free. The whole widget ships in the free plugin – nothing on this page needs Pro.
  • Prerequisite: Elementor (free) installed and active.
  • Widget to enable: go to The Plus Addons > Widgets, search for Meeting Scheduler and turn its toggle on.
  • An account with the booking service, with at least one event set up. The widget embeds your calendar; it does not create one.

Steps

  1. Add the Meeting Scheduler widget to the page.
  2. In the Content tab, open Meeting Scheduler.
  3. Pick your service from the Select dropdown. It ships on Calendly.
  4. Fill in the field that appears underneath. Each service asks for something different – a user name for Calendly, a URL for Freebusy and Vyte.
  5. Set the size. Calendly has a Height; Freebusy and Vyte have a Width and a Height.

The Select dropdown

Select holds five services: Calendly, Freebusy, Meetingbird, Vyte and X Ai. Everything else in the widget is tied to whichever one you pick – choose Calendly and the Freebusy and Vyte fields disappear, and so on.

We have step-by-step pages for Calendly, Freebusy and Vyte. Meetingbird and X Ai are in the dropdown but we have not tested them, so we do not document them here.

How It Behaves

  • Calendly is embedded by Calendly’s own script. The widget prints a placeholder and loads widget.js from Calendly, which then draws the calendar in an iframe. We watched it happen on a published page.
  • Freebusy, Vyte and Meetingbird are plain iframes. The widget writes an iframe pointed at the URL you gave it, with your Width and Height as its attributes. No extra script is loaded.
  • An empty field means an empty page. With the Calendly User Name left blank the widget rendered nothing at all – no box, no placeholder, no error.
  • Only Calendly can be styled from Elementor. Its three colours are passed to Calendly as part of the embed address, so Calendly applies them. The other services are styled in their own dashboards.

Limitations

  • The Time dropdown’s All option does not work. Choosing All loads your 15-minute event instead of every event type. See the Calendly page for the detail.
  • The widget does not create, edit or read your bookings. Everything except the embed happens in the service’s own dashboard.
  • There is no Style section for Freebusy, Vyte, Meetingbird or X Ai.
  • We could not test a real booking, because that needs a live account with one of these services. What we verified is the embed the widget builds and, for Calendly, that Calendly’s script turned it into a working iframe.

Troubleshooting

Nothing appears on the page

The service field is empty. Calendly needs a User Name; Freebusy, Vyte and Meetingbird need a URL. With it blank the widget outputs nothing.

The calendar is cut off or scrolls inside a small box

Raise Height. Calendly starts at 650px and Freebusy and Vyte at 600px, which is short for a calendar with several event types.

The wrong meeting length is offered

For Calendly, the Time value has to match the event length set in your Calendly account. A 30-minute event needs 30 Minutes here.
