One Social Feed widget can hold several feeds at once. Each item in the Social Feeds repeater is one source, and the widget merges them into a single stream.
That is the social wall: Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), YouTube, Vimeo and RSS posts side by side, in date order, in one layout.
Requirement – This widget is a part of The Plus Addons for Elementor Pro, make sure it’s installed & activated to enjoy all its powers.
Before You Start
- Edition: Pro — Social Feed ships only in The Plus Addons for Elementor Pro. With Pro deactivated the widget does not render at all, and there is no free version of it.
- Prerequisite: Elementor (free) installed and active.
- Widget to enable: go to The Plus Addons > Widgets, search for Social Feed and turn its toggle on.
- Prerequisite: your server must be able to make outbound HTTPS requests. The feed is fetched server-side while the page renders, not by the visitor’s browser.
- No account needed: WP RSS Feed is the one source that needs no token, key or login. All it needs is a feed URL.
- Prerequisite: a credential for each social network you want to include. Each feed item has its own Access Token, so a wall of four networks needs four credentials.
Build the wall
- Edit the page with Elementor and drag the Social Feed widget onto it.
- In Content > Content Feed, set Layout to Grid or Masonry. Masonry copes better with cards of different heights, which is what a mixed wall produces.
- Open the first item under Social Feeds, pick its Source and fill in that source’s fields.
- Type a name into Category (For Filter) — for example Instagram. You will need it in step 6.
- Click Add Item and repeat for every other feed you want on the wall.
- Optionally open Content > Filter Option and turn Category Wise Filter on. The widget then prints a button per category above the wall, plus an All button whose label you can change in All Filter Category Text.

How It Behaves
- The feeds are merged, not stacked. With two sources in one widget the cards came out interleaved by date — the newest item from the second feed appeared above older items from the first, not after all of them.
- Each item is fetched separately. One source failing does not take the others down; it adds its own error card to the wall.
- Masonry handles the mixed heights. A wall of two RSS sources came out as a single packed column layout rather than a ragged grid.
Limitations
- Category Wise Filter does not work with WP RSS Feed. The panel says so itself, in a note under Filter Option. Category (For Filter) is also hidden inside an RSS feed item.
- Filter Option and Columns Manage disappear in the Carousel layout. Both sections are hidden when Layout is Carousel; the carousel has its own column settings under Style > Carousel.
- When the connection fails you get a pink card and an HTTP code, not an explanation. With a token that is missing, expired, of the wrong type or simply wrong, the widget renders a card reading Somthing Wrong (that spelling is the plugin’s) followed by 400 and the network name. It does not say which of those things went wrong. The two cases you can tell apart are an entirely empty Access Token, which says Empty Access Token, and X (Twitter), which returns Invalid or expired token. with Error Code : 89.
- Every social source needs its own credential. There is no shared login: each repeater item carries its own Access Token, and each one can expire independently.
- The feed is fetched on your server, and cached. Nothing is requested from the visitor’s browser, so a feed that works on one host can fail on another that blocks outbound requests. Refresh Time (default 1 day) decides how often the request is repeated.
Not verified
So you know exactly what has and has not been checked:
- A feed of real posts from a connected Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube or Vimeo account. This page was checked without ever entering a real access token, API key or password, so what the finished Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube or Vimeo feed looks like once connected was not observed for this revision.
- A wall that mixes social networks. The merge was proved with two RSS sources, which is the same code path, but a wall of real social accounts was not built.
- Category Wise Filter. It cannot be used with the RSS source, which was the only source available without an account, so it was never switched on.
- Lazy Load. Only Load More was exercised; the Lazy Load branch of More Post Loading Options was not.
- Styles 2, 3 and 4, and the Style tab as a whole. Only Style 1 and Style 2 were rendered, and no styling control other than Unique Carousel ID was exercised.
- Performance, Save Data, Delete and Refresh Time. The cached-feed path was never exercised — what is written here about it comes from the panel’s own notes and defaults.
Troubleshooting
One network is missing from the wall
Look for its error card among the posts. If you see Somthing Wrong with that network’s name, the problem is that item’s credential, not the wall.
The filter row does not appear
Three things to check: Layout must not be Carousel, Category Wise Filter must be on, and each feed item needs a value in Category (For Filter).
The RSS feed has no Category (For Filter) field
That is expected. The filter does not work with the RSS source, and the panel says so under Filter Option.
One source dominates the wall
Lower that item’s Max Results. It is set per feed item, so you can balance the mix source by source.
