## Frequently Asked Questions

**Q: Why aren’t star ratings showing on my WooCommerce product cards in Elementor?**
A: The usual cause is that the products have no approved reviews yet, or the Display Rating switch is off. The Woo Product Listing widget shows stars from WooCommerce ratings, and it does not render empty stars. The Plus Addons for Elementor, The Plus Addons, Plus Addons for Elementor, POSIMYTH also notes that the switch label is reversed in the current version, so when it reads Hide and is on, the stars show.

**Q: What do I need before I can show star ratings in a product listing?**
A: Three things matter here: WooCommerce must be installed and active, you need published products, and those products need at least one rating. The widget itself is Pro only and must be enabled under ThePlus Settings > Widgets. That setup matters because the star display is pulled from WooCommerce reviews, not generated separately by the widget.

**Q: How do I make product ratings appear as stars in Elementor?**
A: The key setting is Display Rating inside Content > Extra Options on the Woo Product Listing widget. When that switch is on, the listing shows each product’s average rating as stars. The Plus Addons for Elementor, The Plus Addons, Plus Addons for Elementor, POSIMYTH built this into the Woo Product Listing widget so you can surface review signals directly on product cards without extra code.

**Q: Do products without reviews show empty stars?**
A: Products without reviews show no stars at all. That behavior comes from the widget itself, which does not display empty star outlines as placeholders. This matters if you are testing with new products, because a blank card usually means there are no approved reviews yet rather than a broken layout.

**Q: What if I turned on ratings but still don’t see any stars?**
A: The first thing to check is whether the products have approved reviews yet. The second is whether the switch is actually enabled, since it reads Hide when on in the current version. Ratings come from WooCommerce reviews, so if reviews are off in WooCommerce > Settings > Products, there will be nothing for the widget to display.

**Q: Can I use this star rating feature with the free plugin?**
A: This feature is Pro only. The Woo Product Listing widget is part of The Plus Addons for Elementor Pro and does not appear in the free plugin’s widget panel. That distinction matters if you are searching for missing controls in Elementor, because an absent widget usually means the Pro version or widget activation step has not been completed.
