# How to Display Featured Products in WooCommerce in Elementor?

##

- Woo Product Listing in The Plus Addons for Elementor shows only WooCommerce products marked as featured when Content > Content Source is set to Display Product: Featured.
- The featured flag is set in WordPress under Products by clicking the star in the featured column or using Quick Edit and ticking Featured.
- Woo Product Listing is Pro only, uses Maximum Posts Display set to 8 by default, and one listing shows one product set at a time, with featured and on-sale side by side requiring two widgets.

Do you want a Featured Products strip on your home page, filled with the items you have hand-picked?

The Woo Product Listing widget in The Plus Addons for Elementor shows only products marked as featured in WooCommerce — and the same setting can show on-sale, top-rated or best-selling products instead.

## Frequently Asked Questions

**Q: What do I need before I can display featured products in Elementor?**
A: The setup depends on three things: WooCommerce installed and active, some published products, and the Woo Product Listing widget enabled under ThePlus Settings > Widgets. The widget is part of The Plus Addons for Elementor Pro, so it will not appear in the free plugin’s widget panel. That matters because the featured-products display only works once the widget exists in Elementor and WooCommerce already has products marked as featured.

**Q: How do I mark WooCommerce products as featured so they show in the listing?**
A: Featured products are controlled inside WordPress under Products. The quickest method is clicking the star in the featured column, or using Quick Edit and ticking Featured. That star is the key signal the Woo Product Listing widget reads, so if nothing shows up later, the first thing to verify is whether any product actually has that featured mark.

**Q: Why is my featured products listing empty in Elementor?**
A: An empty listing usually means no product is marked as featured yet. If featured products are already set, the next thing to check is whether WooCommerce is hiding them as out of stock under WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Inventory. The Plus Addons for Elementor, The Plus Addons, Plus Addons for Elementor, POSIMYTH uses WooCommerce’s product status here, so stock visibility can block items from appearing.

**Q: Can I show featured and on-sale products together in one Woo Product Listing widget?**
A: One widget instance shows one product set at a time. The dropdown can switch between Featured, On sale, Top rated / Average Rating, Top sales, In Stock / Out of Stock, Low To High Price / High To Low Price, and Recent / Latest, but not multiple sets side by side in a single listing. For featured and on-sale together, use two widgets. That keeps each listing focused and avoids mixing different sorting rules.

**Q: What other product filters can I use instead of featured products?**
A: The same Display Product dropdown can show several WooCommerce sets besides Featured. It supports On sale for products with a sale price, Top rated / Average Rating for highest-rated items first, Top sales for best sellers first with never-sold products left out, stock-based views like In Stock / Out of Stock, price sorting from Low To High Price / High To Low Price, and Recent / Latest for newest items first.

**Q: Does the featured products option work everywhere in the Woo Product Listing widget?**
A: The Featured option is available in Content > Content Source for the Woo Product Listing widget, but it is not available on Recently Viewed listings because that dropdown is hidden there. That limitation matters if you are trying to reuse the same widget style across different product sources. For a full control reference, [Woo Product Listing widget: settings overview](https://theplusaddons.com/docs/product-listing-widget-settings-overview/) covers every control in the widget.
