Requirement – This widget is a part of The Plus Addons for Elementor, make sure it’s installed & activated to enjoy all its powers.
Before You Start
- Edition: Pro — The Advanced Typography widget needs The Plus Addons for Elementor Pro. In the free plugin it shows in the Elementor panel with a lock icon.
- Widget to enable: Advanced Typography, switched on under The Plus Addons > Widgets.
Steps
- Add the Advanced Typography widget, keep Select Option on Normal and type your text.
- Open Content > Marquee and turn on Enable/Disable.
- Choose the Type: Default or On Transition (see below).
- Set the Direction. For left-to-right motion, choose Right.
- Adjust the speed settings and the Width, then publish.

<marquee> is an obsolete HTML element that browsers still support. If you prefer standard markup, use On Transition.
How It Behaves
- With Direction set to Right, the text moves from left to right. Left moves it the other way.
- In Multiple mode, each item has its own Marquee settings, so only part of the text can move.
Limitations
- Marquee text can’t be a link. With Marquee on, the Advanced Options > Link is not added to the page.
Troubleshooting
The text doesn’t move
Check that Enable/Disable is on, then test on the published page or the preview.
