# How to Connect to Zapier Webhook from Elementor Form?

## Before You Start

- **Edition:** **Pro** — The Webhook action needs The Plus Addons for Elementor Pro. The free plugin does not list it.- **Widget to enable:** Form, switched on under **The Plus Addons > Widgets**.- A Zapier account (or any service that gives you a webhook URL).

## Get a Zapier Webhook URL

Log in to Zapier, then:

- Create a new Zap and click **Trigger**.- Search for **Webhooks** and choose it.- Set **Trigger event** to **Catch Hook** and click **Continue**.- Leave **Pick off a Child Key** empty and click **Continue** again.- Copy the webhook URL.

## Connect the Form Widget

- Add the Form widget to your page and set up your fields.- In **Content > Submit Actions**, add **Webhook** to **Add Action**.- Open the **Webhook** section and fill in the fields below, then publish.

| ------- | ------------- |
| URL | The webhook URL, for example your Zapier Catch Hook URL |

## How It Behaves

- Each submission is sent as a POST request with JSON: `fields` holds each field's Unique ID and value, and `message` holds a text summary with the date, time, page URL, browser and IP address.- In Zapier, send a test submission and click **Test trigger** to see the fields.- Slack incoming webhook and Discord webhook URLs also work here: the message is formatted for them.

## Limitations

- The request is always POST.- Webhooks on your own server or a local network address are blocked for security.

## Troubleshooting

### Visitors see “There was an error in submitting the form.”

The service rejected the request. Re-copy the URL or token without spaces, and test again. While this error shows, a Redirect action does not run.
