A text typing effect, also called a typewriter effect, types a word or phrase out one letter at a time, deletes it, and types the next one.
You can build it with Style 1 of the Heading Animation widget in The Plus Addons for Elementor.

Requirement – This widget is a part of The Plus Addons for Elementor, make sure it’s installed & activated to enjoy all its powers.
Before You Start
- Edition: Free — every Content and Style option of Heading Animation is in the free The Plus Addons for Elementor plugin. Pro only adds its general Advanced-tab extensions, which are not part of this widget.
- Widget to enable: Heading Animation, switched on under The Plus Addons > Widgets. Search for the widget name there and turn its toggle on.
Add the Typing Effect
- Drag the Heading Animation widget onto the page.
- In the Text Animation section, keep Animation Style on Style 1, the first picture tile. It is the default.
- In Prefix Text, type the fixed words before the typed text, for example We build.
- In Animated Text, type each phrase on its own line, for example fast websites, clean layouts and happy clients.
- In Postfix Text, type the fixed words after it, for example every day., then update the page.
What You See
On the page, the prefix and postfix stay put while the middle phrase is typed in letter by letter. When it is complete it is deleted and the next line is typed, and the list repeats.
Tips
- The grey block behind the typed words is Animation Background Color under Style > Animated Text. Change it to match your design.
- Set the colour and font of the typed words with Font Color and Typography in the same section.
Troubleshooting
Nothing is typed on the page
Check that Animation Style is Style 1 and that the phrases are in Animated Text, one per line. Styles 2 to 6 animate differently.
