How to Add Show More Button for Features in Elementor Pricing Table?

A plan with fifteen features makes a very tall card, and the first three lines are usually the ones that sell it. A show-more link keeps the card short and still lets people read everything.

List Open Default in the Pricing Table widget from The Plus Addons for Elementor sets how many feature rows are visible before the link.

Requirement – This widget is a part of The Plus Addons for Elementor, make sure it’s installed & activated to enjoy all its powers.

Before You Start

• Edition: Pro for this feature — the show more link is only in The Plus Addons for Elementor Pro. The Pricing Table widget itself is in the free plugin, so the rest of the card still works without Pro.
• Widget to enable: Pricing Table, switched on under The Plus Addons > Widgets.
• One widget is one plan: the widget renders a single pricing card. For a three-column pricing section, put three Pricing Table widgets side by side in one container.
• List Style must be Style 1. The link is only rendered for List Style Style 1, not Style 2.

How to Add the Show More Link

1. Select the Pricing Table widget and open the Description section.
2. Set Style to Stylish List and List Style to Style 1.
3. Add your feature rows in the repeater. You need more rows than the number in the next step, or no link appears.
4. Scroll past the repeater and put a number in List Open Default.

5. Change the wording in Expand Section Title and Shrink Section Title if you want something other than the defaults.
6. Publish and check the card on the front end.

How It Behaves

• The number is exactly how many rows stay visible. Set it to 3 with seven features and three rows show, with the rest hidden behind the link.
• Clicking the link shows every row and swaps the label to Shrink Section Title. Clicking again hides them and puts the Expand Section Title label back.
• The defaults are + Show all options and – Less options.
• If you leave List Open Default empty, the widget falls back to 3.
• The link is only rendered when there are more rows than the number. Three features with the number set to 3 — or to 5 — shows all three and no link.
• Each card counts on its own. Two pricing tables on one page can show 3 and 5 rows respectively, and their links work independently.

Limitations

• The controls are Pro. Without the Pro plugin they are not in the panel at all and every feature row always shows.
• The link only works with List Style Style 1. With Style 2 the settings stay editable but no link is ever rendered and the whole list shows — the editor gives no warning.
• It does nothing for the WYSIWYG description style, which is one block of text rather than rows.
• The rows are hidden with JavaScript after the page loads, so search engines and screen readers still see the full list.
• There is no animation and no per-device setting — the same number applies on desktop, tablet and mobile.

Troubleshooting

I set a number but there is no link

Either the list has no more rows than the number, or List Style is Style 2. Add another row, or switch List Style to Style 1.

I cannot find List Open Default

It sits below the repeater in Description, and only with Style set to Stylish List. It is a Pro control, so it is absent without the Pro plugin.

All the rows show on the live page

Check List Style is Style 1, then clear any page cache. The rows are hidden by the widget’s own script, which a stripped or deferred script bundle can break.

The link text did not change

Expand Section Title is the closed label and Shrink Section Title the open one. Both are plain text fields, so save the page after editing them.
