April 2024 Monthly Updates: Major Performance Updates, Less Load Times, WordPress News & More.

We’ve released version 5.5.0 for The Plus Addons for Elementor, where we’ve ironed some important fixes, did major changes with widget performance.

With this update, you can expect faster loading times, smoother transitions, and an overall improved user experience. Plus, we’ve introduced some new features and optimizations that you won’t want to miss.

Here’s what’s new in The Plus Addons for Elementor 5.5.0:

1. Optimized CSS File Delivery: We’ve separated big CSS files into small parts and all loaded with conditions. E.g. If you are using Style 1 in Button Widget, It will load CSS of that Style 1 only and not load any other CSS in Button widget. This method, we have implemented in all 120+ Elementor Widgets. We have noticed 40% Performance improvements and huge improvement in Google Score.
2. CPU Memory Optimized : We’ve improved our core structure to optimize memory usage even more. Now, It takes less memory in Elementor Editor from The Plus Addons Widgets.
3. Optimized JS Delivery : We’ve added conditions in all external JS and started loading them conditionally only based on option enabled from any widget. In next phase of this, We will separate our JS, and we will optimize it even further. It will be available in our next release.
4. Widget Code Optimization & Security Enhancement : We’ve integrated PHP_CodeSniffer and done audit from that to make code more optimized and to remove all security warnings. 
5. Added Documentation Links to our widgets settings for easy reference during widget usage.
6. We have knocked out over 50+ bugs with extensive checking in multiple widgets.
7. Compatibility with PHP 8.2 and We are even checking for other PHP versions, and it will be released in next major version.
8. Fixed 4 vulnerabilities reported by Patchstack and Wordfence Team, as well as others found by our developers.
