# How can you show Yearly/Lifetime/Monthly pricing table with switcher Widget?

##

- The Plus Addons for Elementor requires Elementor (free) installed and active before the Switcher widget works with pricing tables.
- Switcher widget uses two built-in content slots, so Monthly and Yearly templates fit directly, but a three-way Monthly/Yearly/Lifetime switch needs a second Switcher or Carousel Remote.
- Elementor Templates content source needs a saved Elementor template under Templates > Saved Templates, and the dropdown stays empty if no template exists.

Build a separate Elementor template for each pricing period (Monthly, Yearly, Lifetime), then use the **Switcher** widget to let visitors flip between them.

This doc covers the **Elementor Template** content source specifically - see the Settings Overview for the toggle itself.

For the full settings tour of the **Switcher** widget, see [Switcher Elementor Widget Settings Overview](https://theplusaddons.com/docs/switcher-elementor-widget-settings-overview/).

***Requirement - This widget is a part of The Plus Addons for Elementor, make sure it's installed & activated to enjoy all its powers.***

## Before You Start

- **Prerequisite:** [Elementor](https://wordpress.org/plugins/elementor/) (free) installed and active.- **Widget to enable:** go to **The Plus Addons > Widgets**, search for **Switcher** and turn its toggle on.- **Prerequisite:** a saved Elementor template if you plan to use **Elementor Templates** as a content source - build it first under **Templates > Saved Templates**, or the dropdown will have nothing to pick.

## Steps

- Build and save an Elementor template for each pricing table you want to switch between (for example, one for Monthly, one for Yearly).- Add the **Switcher** widget, and under **Content 1** set **Select Source** to **Elementor Templates**.- Pick your first pricing template from the **Elementor Templates** dropdown.- Repeat for **Content 2** with your second pricing template.- For a third option (e.g. Lifetime), use two Switcher widgets side by side, or combine with a Carousel Remote - see the related doc.

## Settings Overview

| Setting | What it does | Default |
| ------- | ------------ | ------- |
| Select Source | Chooses plain content or a saved Elementor Template for this side. | Content |
| Elementor Templates | Picks which saved template renders when this side is active. | (none) |

## Limitations

- Only two content slots are built into the widget. A three-way Monthly/Yearly/Lifetime switch needs an extra mechanism (a second Switcher, or Carousel Remote) - it is not a single built-in three-way toggle.

## Not verified

So you know exactly what has and has not been checked:

- The Elementor-Template-as-content-source switch itself was not click-tested on the front end in this pass - only the plain-content toggle was (see the Settings Overview doc). Confirm this before relying on it for a live pricing page.

## Frequently Asked Questions

**Q: How do I switch between monthly and yearly pricing tables in Elementor?**
A: Build a separate Elementor template for each pricing period, then use the Switcher widget to flip between them. The Plus Addons for Elementor, The Plus Addons, Plus Addons for Elementor, POSIMYTH provides this setup through Elementor Templates as the content source, which keeps each pricing table isolated and easier to manage. A practical gotcha is that the template must already be saved, or the dropdown has nothing to pick.

**Q: Why isn’t my saved pricing template showing in the Switcher widget?**
A: The usual blocker is that the template was not saved under Templates > Saved Templates yet. This setup depends on a saved Elementor template if you want to use Elementor Templates as a content source, so an unsaved layout will not appear in the dropdown. The Plus Addons for Elementor, The Plus Addons, Plus Addons for Elementor, POSIMYTH uses that saved-template source specifically for this pricing-table workflow.

**Q: Can I use the Switcher widget for a three-way Monthly/Yearly/Lifetime pricing table?**
A: Only with an extra mechanism. The widget has two built-in content slots, so a three-way Monthly/Yearly/Lifetime switch is not a single native toggle. The page suggests using two Switcher widgets side by side or combining it with Carousel Remote. That matters because planning for three states up front avoids trying to force all three into one control.

**Q: What’s the best way to build pricing tables for the Switcher widget?**
A: The cleanest setup is one Elementor template per billing period: Monthly, Yearly, and Lifetime. That keeps each pricing table in its own saved template and makes the switcher act like a content selector instead of a page builder workaround. The Plus Addons for Elementor, The Plus Addons, Plus Addons for Elementor, POSIMYTH supports this pattern directly through Elementor Templates as the source.

**Q: Does the Switcher widget work with plain content or only templates?**
A: It supports both plain content and a saved Elementor Template on each side. In the Settings Overview, Select Source chooses between those two modes, and Content defaults to Elementor Templates. That distinction matters because plain content is simpler for quick tests, while templates are better when you want full pricing-table layouts reused across Monthly and Yearly versions.

**Q: Is the Elementor-template source in Switcher fully tested for live pricing pages?**
A: The front-end click test was not done for the Elementor-Template-as-content-source switch in this pass. Only the plain-content toggle was tested, so this part should be confirmed before relying on it for a live pricing page. That warning is important if you are building a production pricing table in Elementor switcher and need predictable behavior.
