The Accordion widget from The Plus Addons for Elementor has a built-in Search Bar.

Before You Start
- Edition: Pro — the Search Bar is part of The Plus Addons for Elementor Pro. In the free plugin the option shows an upgrade notice instead of working.
- Widget to enable: Accordion, switched on under The Plus Addons > Widgets.
Steps
- Add the Accordion widget and your items.
- In Content > Special Option, turn on Search Bar and click the pencil next to it.
- Set the options below, then publish.

How It Behaves
- It searches both titles and content, and ignores upper and lower case.
- Matching items are shown and opened; the rest are hidden.
- Clearing the box shows every item again.
Limitations
- With Text Highlight on, some symbols break the search. Typing
(,),[or\stops the filter with a script error. With Text Highlight off, every character works. - It only searches this accordion, not the rest of the page or other accordions.
- Template items are searched by the text the template shows.
Troubleshooting
Nothing filters while I type
You have typed fewer characters than Length. Lower it if short words matter, such as “VAT”.
