# How to Redirect Users From Elementor Form?

## 

- The Plus Addons for Elementor Form widget uses the Redirect action to send visitors to a thank-you page after submission, which confirms the submission and makes conversions easy to track.
- Redirect settings require adding Redirect in Content > Submit Actions, pasting a full page address in Redirect To, and optionally enabling Open in new window from the gear icon.
- The free plugin redirects only after Email is sent, and pages on another website need Open in new window; if any other action fails, the visitor sees an error message and is not redirected.

## Before You Start

- **Edition:** Free — works in the free plugin and in Pro.- **Widget to enable:** Form, switched on under **The Plus Addons > Widgets**.

## Steps

- Add the Form widget to your page and set up your fields.- In **Content > Submit Actions**, add **Redirect** to **Add Action**.- Open **Redirect Settings** and paste the page address in **Redirect To**.- Optional: click the gear icon next to the link and tick **Open in new window**.- Publish the page and send a test submission.

## How It Behaves

- After a successful submission, the visitor is taken to the Redirect To page in the same tab.- With **Open in new window** on, the page opens in a new tab and the form page stays open.

## Limitations

- **If any other action fails** (for example an integration), the visitor sees the error message and is not redirected.- **In the free plugin, also keep Email selected.** The free plugin redirects only after the email is sent. With Redirect alone, visitors see “Emails could not be sent. Please try again.”- **In the free plugin, a page on another website needs Open in new window.** Without it, the visitor stays on the form page. Pages on your own site work either way.

## Troubleshooting

### The form sends but doesn't redirect

Check that **Redirect** is in Add Action and that Redirect To has a full address. If an error message shows, fix the failing action first.
