Related Frequently Asked Questions

What should I do if I don't receive the custom email confirmation from my Elementor form?

Check that you've correctly added the email address in the Email Settings tab under the To tab. If the email address is correct, ensure that the Form widget from The Plus Addons for Elementor is installed and activated. Remember, if the shortcode for individual field values isn't set up properly, the email may not contain the expected information.

Can I use the custom email confirmation feature with any other page builder?

The custom email confirmation feature is specific to the Form widget from The Plus Addons for Elementor and works only with Elementor. It does not support other page builders like Gutenberg, Beaver Builder, or Divi. Make sure you are using Elementor to access this functionality effectively.

What is the best practice for customizing the email message in the Elementor form?

Utilize the [all-values] shortcode in the Message field to include all submitted form values in your email. This provides a comprehensive overview of the submission. If you want to highlight specific fields, use the Data Shortcode field from the Advanced tab for more tailored messages, ensuring your email is informative and relevant.

What happens if I don't set a custom sender name or email in the From fields?

If you leave the From Email and From Name fields blank, the email will be sent from a default email address, which may not be recognizable to your recipients. This can lead to lower open rates and could be flagged as spam. Setting a recognizable sender name and email increases the likelihood that users will engage with your email.

Can I send a copy of the email confirmation to someone else?

Yes, you can send cc and bcc emails by using the CC and BCC tabs in the Email Settings. This feature is useful for keeping team members informed about form submissions without requiring them to fill out the form themselves. Just ensure you enter the correct email addresses to avoid any communication mishaps.

Is there a limit to the number of email addresses I can add for notifications?

The page does not specify a limit on the number of email addresses you can add in the To field for notifications. However, it's essential to manage these addresses carefully to ensure that your emails do not appear as spam. Keeping the list concise can enhance deliverability and maintain clarity in communication.
