Continuous Animation adds a looping animation – a pulse, a shake, a rotation and more – to any Elementor widget, on top of Elementor’s own one-shot entrance animations.
It sits on every widget’s own Advance tab once the extension is switched on, Free widgets included.
Requirement – This extension is a part of The Plus Addons for Elementor Pro, make sure it’s installed & activated to enjoy all its powers.
Before You Start
- Edition: Pro — confirmed on The Plus Addons > Extensions screen (Plus Extras group, PRO badge). Once enabled it appears on the Advance tab of every widget, Free or Pro.
- Extension to enable: Continuous Animation, switched on under The Plus Addons > Extensions (Plus Extras group) — not under Widgets.
Steps
- Enable Continuous Animation at The Plus Addons > Extensions (Plus Extras group), then save.
- Select any widget in the Elementor editor and open its Advance tab.
- Open the new Continuous Animation section and turn on Continuous Animation.
- Choose an Animation Effect (default Pulse), and optionally set Duration Time and Transform Origin (default centre centre).
- Turn on Hover Animation instead if you only want the effect while the visitor’s mouse is over the widget.
- Publish the page – the widget animates continuously without any visitor interaction, unless Hover Animation is on.

How It Behaves
Confirmed on a rendered fixture: with Animation Effect left at its default (Pulse) and Hover Animation off, the wrapped widget’s computed style showed animation-name: content_effect_pulse, animation-duration: 2.5s and animation-iteration-count: infinite – a genuinely running, continuously looping animation, not a one-shot entrance effect.
Limitations
- Turning on Hover Animation changes the wrapper class from an always-on class to a hover-only one – the effect will not be visible until the widget is hovered.
Troubleshooting
The widget does not animate
Confirm the extension is switched on at The Plus Addons > Extensions (Plus Extras group), and that Continuous Animation itself is turned on inside the widget’s own Advance tab – the extension toggle and the per-widget toggle are two separate switches.
