With the Carousel Anything widget of The Plus Addons for Elementor you can easily make your carousel play automatically.
To do this add the Carousel Anything widget on the page and after you’ve created your slides go to the Style tab, under the Carousel Options turn on the Autoplay toggle.
This will make your carousel play automatically and from the Autoplay Speed you can adjust its speed as well.
