One Social Reviews widget can hold several sources at once. Every item in the Social Reviews repeater is one source, and the widget lays them all out in a single wall.
That means Facebook reviews, Google reviews and reviews you typed in yourself can sit side by side, in one layout, with one set of styles.

Requirement – This widget is a part of The Plus Addons for Elementor Pro, make sure it’s installed & activated to enjoy all its powers.
Before You Start
- Edition: Pro — Social Reviews ships only in The Plus Addons for Elementor Pro. The widget does not exist in the free plugin at all: no widget file, no CSS and no JavaScript, so there is nothing to fall back to.
- Prerequisite: Elementor (free) installed and active.
- Widget to enable: go to The Plus Addons > Widgets, search for Social Reviews and turn its toggle on.
- No account needed: the Manual source needs no token, no key and no login. It is the one source you can use straight away.
- Prerequisite: your server must be able to make outbound HTTPS requests. Facebook and Google are called server-side while the page renders, not by the visitor’s browser.
- Prerequisite: a credential for each connected source. Every row carries its own Access Token and Page/Place ID, so a wall of Facebook plus Google needs two sets. Manual rows need none.
Build the wall
- Edit the page with Elementor and drag the Social Reviews widget onto it.
- In Content > Content, leave Type on Reviews, pick a Style, and set Layout to Grid or Masonry. Masonry copes better with cards of different heights, which is what a mixed wall produces.
- Open the first item under Social Reviews, choose its Source and fill in that source’s fields.
- Type a label into Category (For Filter) — for example Google. You will want it in step 6.
- Click Add Item and repeat for every other source you want on the wall.
- Optionally open Content > Filter Option and turn Category Wise Filter on, so visitors can narrow the wall down to one source.
What each row contributes

How It Behaves
- Every row is fetched separately. A widget with three manual rows and two connected rows rendered all five — the manual ones in full, and one card per connected source.
- One source failing does not take the wall down. A row that cannot reach its platform contributes its own error card and the rest of the wall renders normally. That is what the two pink cards below are.
- Manual rows can wear another platform’s badge. A Manual row’s Platform setting decides which logo and wording the card carries, so you can add a review from somewhere the widget has no integration for.
- The whole wall shares one style. If you want the sources to look different, the Style tab has separate Facebook, Google and Manual sections.
Limitations
- A failed connection produces a pink card, not an explanation. A Facebook row whose Access Token is wrong renders a card reading Something Wrong (that spelling is the plugin’s). A row whose token and Page/Place ID are both completely empty renders exactly the same card, so the message does not tell you whether you mistyped the token or never pasted one.
- Every connected source needs its own credential. There is no shared login: each row carries its own Access Token, and each can expire independently.
- Three sections disappear in the Carousel layout. Columns Manage, Filter Option and Load More/Lazy Load are all skipped when Layout is Carousel. The carousel has its own column settings under Style > Carousel.
- Load More and Lazy Load do not currently load anything. On a published page with six manual reviews, Maximum Posts Display at 3 and More Post Loading set to Load More, clicking the button left the count at three, changed the button to Loading… permanently and raised a JavaScript error. Lazy Load likewise never went past the initial count. No credential was involved, so this is not an API problem. Until it is fixed, show every review you want visible.
- Reviews are fetched on your server, and cached. Nothing is requested from the visitor’s browser, so a source that works on one host can fail on another that blocks outbound requests. Refresh Time (default 1 day) decides how often the request is repeated.
Not verified
So you know exactly what has and has not been checked:
- A wall of real Facebook or Google reviews. This page was checked without ever entering a real access token, API key or place id, so what the finished Facebook or Google feed looks like once connected was not observed for this revision. Everything below that does not need a credential was checked on a published page.
- A wall of real reviews from two live platforms. The merge was proved with manual rows alongside connected rows, which is the same code path, but no wall of genuine Facebook and Google reviews was built.
- How the wall is ordered once several sources return real reviews — whether they interleave by date or group by row. Not observed.
- The Style tab. Only the three content Style presets were rendered; no colour, typography or per-source styling control was exercised.
Troubleshooting
One source is missing from the wall
Look for its error card among the reviews. A pink card reading Something Wrong with that platform’s name means the problem is that row’s credential, not the wall.
One source dominates
Lower that row’s Max Results. It is set per row, so you can balance the mix source by source.
The filter bar does not appear
Layout must not be Carousel, Category Wise Filter must be on, and each row needs a value in Category (For Filter).
The cards from different sources look inconsistent
They come from different platforms, so the avatars, name formats and text lengths differ. Masonry handles the uneven heights, and Style > Universal applies one look to all of them at once.
