A carousel shows a handful of reviews at a time and slides through the rest, so a long list of reviews takes up a fixed amount of page.
The Social Reviews widget builds one from the same reviews you would put in a grid — you only change Layout.

Requirement – This widget is a part of The Plus Addons for Elementor Pro, make sure it’s installed & activated to enjoy all its powers.
Before You Start
- Edition: Pro — Social Reviews ships only in The Plus Addons for Elementor Pro. The widget does not exist in the free plugin at all: no widget file, no CSS and no JavaScript, so there is nothing to fall back to.
- Prerequisite: Elementor (free) installed and active.
- Widget to enable: go to The Plus Addons > Widgets, search for Social Reviews and turn its toggle on.
- No account needed: the Manual source needs no token, no key and no login. It is the one source you can use straight away.
Build the carousel
- Edit the page with Elementor and drag the Social Reviews widget onto it.
- In Content > Content, leave Type on Reviews and choose a Style.
- Set Layout to Carousel.
- Add your reviews under Social Reviews, from whichever sources you want.
- Open Style > Carousel to control how it slides.

The section is called Carousel and it lives on the Style tab, not the Content tab. It only appears once Layout is Carousel.
How It Behaves
- Several reviews are visible at once, not one. Six reviews rendered four cards side by side with six dots underneath.
- It moves by itself. Autoplay is on out of the box — in the screenshot below the carousel has already advanced past the first review, and the second dot is the active one.
- Infinite Mode is on, so the widget also renders duplicate slides at each end to make the loop seamless. That is normal and not a duplicate review.
- Arrows are off until you turn them on. A carousel straight out of the box gives you dots only.
Limitations
- Three sections disappear in the Carousel layout. Columns Manage, Filter Option and Load More/Lazy Load are all skipped when Layout is Carousel. The carousel has its own column settings under Style > Carousel.
- Carousel arrows are off by default. A carousel straight out of the box shows dots only. Turn Show Arrows on under Style > Carousel if you want them.
- In the Carousel layout the source logo is rendered very large. With Style-1 and the default carousel settings, the Google and Facebook logos fill most of the card, and a Manual row with no Platform Logo set draws a big grey placeholder. In the Grid layout the same logos are small.
- Review text is truncated out of the box. Text Limit is on by default with Limit Count at 100 characters, so longer reviews end in …Show More before you change anything. Turn Text Limit off under Content > Extra Options to show reviews in full.
- Two carousel controls are both labelled Arrows Style. One chooses the arrow design and the other their position. Check which one you have open.
Not verified
So you know exactly what has and has not been checked:
- Clicking a carousel dot. The carousel was seen to have advanced on its own (autoplay is on by default), but a dot click did not move it in the one measurement taken, and arrows are off by default so there was none to click.
- A wall of real Facebook or Google reviews. This page was checked without ever entering a real access token, API key or place id, so what the finished Facebook or Google feed looks like once connected was not observed for this revision. Everything below that does not need a credential was checked on a published page.
- The Carousel Remote actually driving the review carousel. The Unique Carousel ID field exists and the carousel initialises, but a page pairing the two widgets was not published and no remote click was measured.
- The Style tab. Only the three content Style presets were rendered; no colour, typography or per-source styling control was exercised.
- Slider Mode, Slide Direction, Slide Speed, Draggable and Autoplay Speed. Defaults were left alone; none of these was changed and re-measured.
Troubleshooting
There are no arrows
Show Arrows is off by default. Turn it on under Style > Carousel.
The Filter Option and Columns Manage sections have gone
Both are unavailable in the Carousel layout, and so is Load More/Lazy Load. Carousel columns are set under Style > Carousel instead.
I see the same review twice
Check whether it is at the very start or end of the strip. Infinite Mode renders cloned slides there so the loop has no seam. Turn Infinite Mode off if you would rather it stopped at the last review.
The source logo is enormous
That is how this layout renders it. If the card is dominated by a Google or Facebook logo, try Style-3, which shows no source logo at all, or set your own smaller Platform Logo on manual rows.
