After a successful login, the login form reloads the page it is on. Sending members straight to a dashboard, an account page or a members-only area saves them a click.
The Redirect After Login option of the WP Login & Register widget from The Plus Addons for Elementor sets that destination.

Requirement – This widget is a part of The Plus Addons for Elementor, make sure it’s installed & activated to enjoy all its powers.
Before You Start
- Edition: Pro — the WP Login & Register widget is only part of The Plus Addons for Elementor Pro. The free plugin lists it as a locked Pro widget and does not add it to Elementor.
- Widget to enable: WP Login & Register, switched on under The Plus Addons > Widgets.
- The page you redirect to should already exist, so test the link in a browser first.
How to Redirect Users After Login
- Add the WP Login & Register widget to your login page.
- In Forms Layout, set Type to Login or Login and Register.
- Open Login Options and turn on Redirect After Login.
- Paste the full address of the destination page into the link field under the switch.
- Publish the page, then log in from a private browser window to test it.
How It Behaves
- After the correct username or email and password, the visitor is sent to the address you entered.
- With the switch off, the same page reloads. Logged-in visitors then see the My Account Menu (avatar, name, Edit Profile and Logout) instead of the form, unless you turn that menu off.
- A wrong password or unknown username does not redirect. The form shows the Validation text from Notification Message (by default “Ops! Wrong username or password!”).
- Google and Facebook sign-in buttons have their own Redirect URL field in Social Login/Register; this switch only covers the login form.
Limitations
- The field accepts any address. The note under it says only your own domain can be used, but in our test a login redirected to an external site. Only enter pages you trust, preferably on your own site.
- Logins are always remembered. The login cookie lasted 14 days in our test even with Remember Me unticked, so the checkbox does not change how long a visitor stays logged in.
- The widget is part of The Plus Addons for Elementor Pro only.
Troubleshooting
The page only reloads after login
Check that Redirect After Login is on and that the link field under it is not empty, then update the page.
I get sent somewhere unexpected
Open the link field and check the address. The widget uses it exactly as entered, including other domains.
