When a logo showcase runs to dozens of clients, a row of category buttons above it lets visitors jump straight to the ones they care about.
The Clients widget from The Plus Addons for Elementor builds that row from your client categories.

Requirement – This widget is a part of The Plus Addons for Elementor, make sure it’s installed & activated to enjoy all its powers.
Before You Start
- Edition: Pro — the Clients widget is free, but the Category Wise Filter needs The Plus Addons for Elementor Pro.
- Widget to enable: Clients, under The Plus Addons > Widgets. Elementor shows it in the Listing group.
- Prerequisite: your clients must be sorted into Tp Clients Category terms. The filter reads that taxonomy, so a category with no clients in it never appears.
Put your clients into categories
Open each client under Tp Clients and tick a term in the Tp Clients Categories box, or add a new one there. The filter row lists exactly these terms.
The Manage Clients repeater has no category field, so this feature only works with Select Source set to Post Type.
Turn the filter on
- Edit the page with Elementor and select the Clients widget.
- In Layout, pick Grid or Masonry. The filter is not available for the carousel.
- Leave Select Source on Post Type.
- Open the Category Wise Filter section and switch Category Wise Filter to Show.
- Leave Filter Type on Normal.
The buttons appear above the logos, and clicking one narrows the list:

The Style tab has a matching Filter Category section for the typography, colours and spacing of the row.
How It Behaves
- The All button carries a count of the logos currently listed.
- Only categories that have clients in them appear. A term with no clients is not drawn.
- Normal filters what is already on the page. With Maximum Posts Display set to 3 of 8 clients, picking a category searched only those 3 — that is what Normal means.
- Turning the layout to Carousel removes the whole section from the panel.
Limitations
- Filter Type set to AJAX does not work in version 6.5.0. The request the browser sends is rejected by the server, the logos turn into grey placeholder blocks and the list never changes. This happens with Search Type on either Slug or ID. Leave Filter Type on Normal until it is fixed.
- Because Normal only searches the logos already listed, raise Maximum Posts Display to cover every client if you want the filter to find all of them.
- The Repeater source has no categories, so the filter row comes out with only the All button.
- The filter is not available for the carousel layout.
Troubleshooting
No filter row appears
The feature needs The Plus Addons for Elementor Pro, the layout must not be Carousel, and Select Source must be Post Type.
The buttons are there but nothing filters
Check Filter Type — on AJAX nothing happens at all in 6.5.0. Switch it to Normal.
A category is missing from the row
No published client is in it, or Select Category under Content Source has already excluded those clients.
Picking a category shows nothing
With Normal the filter only searches the logos on the page. Raise Maximum Posts Display.
