The Plus Addons Widget Recipes

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about copying a recipe and letting your AI assistant build the widget inside Elementor.

What Is a Widget Recipe?

A ready-made, plain-English instruction you copy and give to your AI assistant. It tells the assistant exactly which The Plus Addons widget to build and how, so you skip writing the request from scratch.

How Do I Set This Up?

Install The Plus Addons, connect the MCP server, add the generated configuration to your AI assistant, and start building. Full steps are on the MCP Abilities page.

How Do These Recipes Work?

Copy a recipe, paste it into your AI assistant, and it builds the widget directly in your Elementor editor. The recipe is the prompt; your AI assistant does the building.

Does This Generate HTML, or a Real Elementor Widget?

A real Elementor widget, never an HTML dump or a core Elementor fallback. Each recipe builds an actual The Plus Addons element with its own element ID.

Does It Use Only Elementor Widgets, or The Plus Addons Widgets Too?

The Plus Addons widgets, placed inside standard Elementor containers. Recipes cover all 110 widgets across the free and Pro range.

Will the Result Be Responsive and Cross-Browser Tested?

Yes. The AI places the same tested widgets you would use manually, so the output inherits their existing responsive behaviour and browser support, and respects your global colours and typography.

Can I Edit What the Assistant Builds?

Yes. Every result is a real Elementor element with a real element ID. Open the panel, change settings, duplicate it, or move it.

Is a Recipe Just a Prompt I Paste In?

Yes, a tested starting point. Run it as-is, or tweak it first.

Can I Optimise a Recipe Further?

Absolutely. Add your own details (a style variation, item count, spacing, or a breakpoint rule) and the AI adapts the build.

Which Assistants Are Supported?

Any MCP-compatible AI assistant, including Claude, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, and Cline, or any other tool that speaks the Model Context Protocol.

Do I Need The Plus Addons Pro?

Free covers the essential widgets; Pro unlocks the rest, including the full WooCommerce suite. Recipes are provided for both.
