Related Frequently Asked Questions

What should I do if the masked link doesn't show up when hovering over the coupon code?

If the masked link isn't displaying, ensure that you've enabled the 'Hide Link' toggle in the settings. This feature is crucial for masking the original URL with your custom text. If the toggle is off, the original link will be visible instead of the masked version. Double-check that you've entered the correct text in the 'Link Masking Text' field as well.

What is the best practice for setting up multiple masked links?

When setting up multiple masked links, use the '+ Add Item' button to add additional links under the Open URLs section. Ensure that each link has a unique label in the Label field to help identify them easily. This organization helps maintain clarity, especially if you have several coupon codes on the same page.

What happens if I leave the Redirect Link field blank?

Leaving the Redirect Link field blank means that the coupon code will only show the masked link when hovered over, without redirecting to any specific URL. This can be beneficial if you want to display the coupon code without linking it to an external site. However, if you want users to be redirected upon clicking, you'll need to enter a URL in that field.

Does the Coupon Code widget work with other page builders?

The Coupon Code widget is specifically designed to work with Elementor and is part of The Plus Addons for Elementor. It does not function with other page builders like Gutenberg, Beaver Builder, or Divi. If you're using Elementor, you can take full advantage of this widget's features for creating masked links.

Are there any limitations when using the Coupon Code widget?

One limitation to consider is that the Coupon Code widget only supports masking links for URLs entered in the 'Link' field. If you've added a link in the Redirect Link field, that will also be masked, but you cannot mask links from other sources or formats. Make sure to use the widget's features as intended to achieve the desired results.
