A long tracking address in the corner of the browser does not inspire a click. Hide Link lets you put your own wording there instead.
The same setting also lets one coupon open more than one address at a time, which is how you send a visitor to a shop and to a tracking URL in one gesture.

Requirement – This widget is a part of The Plus Addons for Elementor Pro, make sure it’s installed & activated to enjoy all its powers.
Before You Start
- Edition: Pro — Coupon Code ships only in The Plus Addons for Elementor Pro. The free plugin contains no coupon widget at all, so there is nothing to fall back to.
- Prerequisite: Elementor (free) installed and active.
- Widget to enable: go to The Plus Addons > Widgets, search for Coupon Code and turn its toggle on. This is the Widgets screen, not Extensions.
- The action must be Click. Hide Link only appears when Select Action is Click. It does not exist for the popup.
Mask the link
- Edit the page with Elementor and drag the Coupon Code widget onto it.
- In Content > Layout, leave Coupon Type on Standard and pick a Standard Style.
- In Content > Content, write the button text in Title, type the coupon into Code, and leave Select Action on Click.
- Turn on Hide Link. Two more fields appear.
- In Link Masking Text, type the wording you want the browser to show. It starts as
#. - Open the row under Open URLs : Single/Multiple, give it a Label for your own reference, and paste the real address into Link. Use Add Item for each further address.

If Redirect Link also has an address in it, that address is masked and opened as well, after the rows. It is not replaced by them.
How It Behaves
- The wording you type becomes the link’s address. Measured on a published page with Link Masking Text set to
best-deal: the coupon’s link pointed atbest-deal, so the browser showed your own site’s address with/best-dealon the end. The real addresses are held separately and are not in the link. - One click opens every address in the list. With two rows filled in and a Redirect Link set as well, a single click opened three new tabs – the two rows and the redirect – and revealed the code in place.
- Order matters. The rows open in the order they appear in the panel, and Redirect Link opens last.
- The code is revealed either way. Masking changes where the click goes, not what the coupon shows.
Limitations
- An empty row in Open URLs : Single/Multiple still opens a tab. The Link field defaults to
#, and a row left at that default opens a new tab showing the current page. Delete rows you are not using instead of blanking them. - Whatever you type becomes a path on your own site. The masking text is used as the address exactly as written, so a visitor who copies the link copies a URL on your domain that probably does not exist. Keep it short and descriptive – it is a label the browser happens to show, not a working address.
- Several tabs at once will often be blocked. Browsers allow the first tab opened by a click and frequently block the rest. Two or three addresses is already ambitious; test what actually opens.
- The Click action reveals the code; it does not copy it. Only the Popup action has a Copy Code button. With Click the code is simply printed in place and the visitor has to select it by hand.
- The reveal cannot be undone. Once the code is shown, the button that said Show Code is replaced by the code itself. There is no way back to the button without reloading the page.
Not verified
So you know exactly what has and has not been checked:
- Masking text containing slashes, spaces or punctuation. One plain word was measured. Anything else may be rewritten by the browser when it resolves the address.
- How many tabs a given browser will allow. Three opened in the test browser; no other browser was tried.
- The Style tab. Standard Style 1 and Style 3 were rendered; no colour, typography, border or popup-styling control was exercised.
Troubleshooting
Hide Link is not in the panel
It needs Coupon Type Standard and Select Action Click. With Popup you get Tab Reverse in its place.
A tab of my own page keeps opening
A row still has its default Link of #. Delete rows you are not using rather than clearing their address.
Only the first address opens
The browser blocked the rest. Reduce the list, or send the visitor to one address that handles the rest of the tracking itself.
The browser still shows the real address
Hide Link is off, or Link Masking Text is empty. An empty masking text turns the masking off entirely.
