Elementor Hosting Review: Is Elementor Host Worth It, And What To Pair It With

Key Takeaways

  • Elementor Host plans do not include an Elementor Editor licence, so the Pro builder is a separate purchase even though WordPress and the free Elementor plugin are pre-installed.
  • Elementor Host lists managed hosting on Google Cloud, a free domain, free migration, automated scaling, a staging environment, AI-powered hosting tools and a 30-day money-back guarantee.
  • Host Cloud: 10GB shows $15 per month billed annually, 1 website, 10,000 monthly visits, 10 GB SSD storage and 7 days of backups; Host Cloud: 3 Sites shows $35 per month billed annually, 3 websites, 50,000 monthly visits, 40 GB SSD storage and 30 days of backups.
  • Elementor’s pricing page lists Essential at $5 per month, Advanced Solo at $7, Advanced at $9 for three sites and Expert at $17 for 25 sites.
  • Elementor’s help article says the free domain applies only to the first year, free migration can take a few hours through Migrate Guru, and migrating into an existing Host site moves only the live site, not its staging copies.

Elementor Hosting is one of those search terms where the product keeps changing under the people looking for it. Some guides still describe it as a bundle that arrives with Elementor Pro. Others call it Elementor Cloud. Elementor’s own pages now call it Elementor Host, sell it separately from the builder licence, and list it under a Manage and Host heading next to domains and email delivery. If you are trying to decide whether to put a site on it, you need the current facts before you need an opinion.

This review is built from Elementor’s own pricing page, hosting page and Knowledge Hub articles, all read on 5 October 2026. We did not buy a plan or run a speed test for this article, so every number below is either a published Elementor figure or simple arithmetic on one, and we say which. Where Elementor’s pages disagree with each other, we point that out instead of picking a winner.

Table Of Contents

What Elementor Hosting Is Called Now

The product has gone through several names. Elementor’s help article on the technology behind it still carries an image labelled as an announcement of Elementor Cloud Website, and the old elementor.com/cloud-website/ address now returns a placeholder page that says it has not been built yet. The current hosting page is titled Cloud Hosting for WordPress, and the plans are branded Host Cloud, with Multi-Site and Enterprise options beside them. In the help center the product is simply Elementor Host.

That matters for search, because the three terms people type, Elementor Hosting, Elementor Cloud and Elementor Host, all land on the same service. It also matters for the word "bundled" in the question most readers arrive with. Elementor’s hosting FAQ answers it directly: Elementor Host plans do not include an Elementor Editor licence, although you can connect an existing licence to a hosted site or buy one separately. So in 2026 the honest short version is that Elementor sells managed WordPress hosting with WordPress and the free Elementor plugin pre-installed, and the Pro builder is a second purchase.

If you want the wider picture of how this fits among other hosts, our comparison of the best WordPress hosting for Elementor ranks seven providers, with Elementor Host as one entry. This article goes deeper on that single entry.

What Elementor Host Actually Includes

Elementor’s hosting page lists the same core feature set on every Host Cloud plan, and the Knowledge Hub plans article repeats it: managed hosting on Google Cloud, WordPress pre-installed, a free domain, free migration, automated scaling, a staging environment, AI-powered hosting tools and a 30-day money-back guarantee. Below that, the plan cards group the rest by area.

  • Security and performance: Cloudflare Enterprise CDN, premium SSL, WAF, DDoS and botnet protection, a Patchstack-operated vulnerability scanner, an activity log, Redis object cache and a choice of PHP versions.
  • Hosting and WordPress tools: a hosting control panel, unlimited team members, one-click WordPress login, pre-installed WordPress and Elementor, automated updates and Google Analytics integration.
  • Service: 24/7 expert support and a 99.9% uptime guarantee. The plan cards also say unlimited PHP workers.
  • Developer access: the compare table lists a file manager with SFTP, on-demand backups, page caching and site cloning, and the FAQ mentions WP-CLI support.

Two details are worth reading closely. First, the compare table’s Elementor Builder section lists 32 widgets and calls the 85 Pro widgets, custom code, form builder, popup builder and eCommerce features "sold separately". That is the free plugin, not Pro. Second, the staging environment is genuinely useful, but Elementor’s migration guide warns that migrating into an existing Host site moves only the live site, not its staging copies, so push staging to live before you migrate.

Elementor Host Plans And Prices

On 5 October 2026 the hosting page showed three cards: Single-Site Plans starting at Host Cloud: 10GB, Multi-Site Plans starting at Host Cloud: 3 Sites, and an Enterprise card with a Let’s Talk button. The screenshot below is a capture of that page, so you can check our numbers against Elementor’s.

Larger tiers sit behind the sliders. Elementor’s help article on Elementor Host plans lists them: Host Cloud 20GB, 50GB, 90GB, 175GB and 275GB for single sites, and Multi-Site tiers for 3, 5, 10, 15 and 20 sites. The screenshot below is that article’s comparison chart, which is the clearest published source for the limits.

The comparison chart in Elementor’s Knowledge Hub, last updated June 2025 according to the article.

One inconsistency to flag. The compare table on the hosting page lists a Host Cloud x10 column with 100,000 monthly visits and 100 GB of storage, while the help chart lists Multi-Site (10 Sites) with 250,000 visits and 60 GB. They may be different plan generations, but Elementor does not say so. Before you buy a tier above the first card, read the numbers on the checkout screen rather than trusting either page.

There is also a legacy detail. The hosting page still has a Best for eCommerce toggle, but Elementor’s eCommerce Hosting article carries a notice that those plans, Cloud Sell XL and Cloud Sell XXL, are no longer available for new purchases and applies only to existing subscribers. The next image is that notice.

Does Elementor Host Include Elementor Pro?

No, and this is the single most important thing to understand before comparing it with other hosts. Elementor’s own FAQ says that Elementor Host plans do not include an Elementor Editor licence. The pricing page says the same thing from the other direction: asked whether Elementor One includes hosting, its answer is no, Elementor Host is a separate offering, and Elementor One can be used on any compatible WordPress host.

That means a realistic Elementor Host budget has two lines. Using the list prices from Elementor’s pricing page, here is the first-year arithmetic for common setups. The totals are ours, exclude tax and assume you buy annually.

SetupHosting, year oneElementor licence, year oneCombined, year one
Host Cloud: 10GB with free Elementor$180$0$180
Host Cloud: 10GB with Advanced Solo (1 site, 85 Pro widgets)$180$84$264
Host Cloud: 10GB with Elementor One (1 site, 25,000 credits)$180$180, renews at $228$360
Host Cloud: 3 Sites with Advanced (3 sites)$420$108$528
Host Cloud: 3 Sites with Elementor One Agency (unlimited sites)$420$432, renews at $540$852
Hosting prices from elementor.com/hosting/ and licence prices from elementor.com/pricing/, read 5 October 2026. Elementor One shows a first-year price and a higher renewal rate.

Elementor’s pricing page lists Essential at $5 per month ($60 a year, one site, 57 Pro widgets, no popup builder, custom code or eCommerce features), Advanced Solo at $7, Advanced at $9 for three sites and Expert at $17 for 25 sites. For a deeper look at what each tier unlocks and what renewal costs, see our guide to Elementor Pro pricing.

Performance Claims Versus What We Could Check

Elementor’s hosting page makes three headline claims: 109ms time to first byte, number one Core Web Vitals and 99.9% uptime. It attributes them to Google Cloud C2 infrastructure, Cloudflare Enterprise CDN and advanced caching. These are marketing statements from the vendor, with no test method or date shown beside them. We did not reproduce them, and we would not repeat them as fact in a buying decision.

What we can say is narrower and still useful. The stack described is a sensible one for WordPress: a global CDN, Redis object caching, Nginx, and unlimited PHP workers rather than a hard worker cap. Elementor’s help article on Nginx explains that there is no .htaccess file, and that redirects are handled through the My Elementor dashboard. Those are real architectural choices you can plan around.

Social proof is similarly thin to verify. The hosting page embeds a Trustpilot widget, and in our capture it read Excellent, based on 1,494 reviews, with a note that it was showing only the 5-star reviews. That is a curated display on Elementor’s own page, not an independent rating. Trustpilot itself blocked our automated check with a verification screen, so we are not quoting its live score or breakdown. Read the one-star and two-star reviews on Trustpilot yourself before buying.

A Bandwidth Sum Worth Doing Before You Buy

Elementor’s help article on storage and bandwidth gives its own sizing guide. It estimates that a 5 MB long-form blog page seen by 10,000 to 20,000 visitors needs a minimum of 50 to 100 GB of bandwidth. The entry plan lists 10,000 monthly visits and 10 GB of bandwidth. Those two statements only fit together if your pages are far lighter than 5 MB. By simple division, 10 GB across 10,000 visits is about 1 MB per visit. Whether CDN-served files count against that figure is not stated in the pages we read, so ask support before you rely on the answer.

The practical lesson is to measure your own average page weight first. Image-heavy Elementor pages with large hero videos will sit well above 1 MB. Our guide to fixing Elementor Core Web Vitals covers the page-side fixes that lower both weight and load time regardless of host.

Limits And Trade-Offs Worth Knowing Before You Buy

Plugins You Cannot Install

Elementor maintains a list of plugins that are not allowed on Elementor hosted websites. It includes several popular backup, migration and caching tools, which makes sense on a managed host that provides those functions itself, but it will catch people moving over a stack they already trust. The capture below is the list as of its last update on 19 August 2025.

Elementor’s incompatible plugins list, including W3 Total Cache, UpdraftPlus, Duplicator, WP File Manager, Really Simple SSL and Limit Login Attempts Reloaded.

The Plus Addons for Elementor does not appear on that list, and neither do Elementor itself or the common SEO and form plugins. We have not test-installed any addon on a live Elementor Host site for this article, so treat that as a reading of the published list rather than a compatibility test.

The Free Domain Has Conditions

The free domain is real but narrow. Elementor’s free domain terms say it applies to the first year only, not to renewals, that you redeem a voucher through the My Elementor dashboard and are sent to a third-party provider to claim it, and that if you use the 30-day refund, domain fees may be deducted from your refund. Budget for the domain renewal in year two.

Migration Is Free But Not Instant

Free migration uses the Migrate Guru plugin on your old site and a key from the new one. Elementor’s guide says the process can take a few hours, you receive an email when it finishes, and changes you make on the old site after starting will not be copied across. Do not shut down the old hosting until you have checked the new site.

Handing A Site To A Client

Agencies get a practical feature here. A hosted site can be transferred to a client through a link valid for five days, even if the client has no Elementor account yet. Elementor warns that if the recipient’s subscription lacks features the site uses, such as Pro widgets, those unsupported features are not copied across. Plan for the client’s licence before you transfer.

Who Elementor Host Fits And Who Should Pick A Separate Host

Pulling the above together, the decision is less about raw speed and more about how many vendors you want to deal with.

If most of those rows point away from you, look at the alternatives in our Elementor hosting comparison. If you are unsure whether you even need Elementor’s hosting rather than its plugin, our short guide to Elementor hosting versus the plugin explains the difference.

How Elementor Host Relates To Elementor One And Manage

Elementor groups its products under three headings in the navigation: Create, Optimize, and Manage and Host. Host Cloud sits in the last group, next to domain registration, email delivery and a Manage option described as monitoring and updating every site in one place. Elementor One is the subscription that bundles the Editor Pro with Agentic AI, Image Optimization, Email Deliverability, Web Accessibility, Site Management and Cookie Consent, paid for through a shared credit pool.

The relationship is loose by design. One gives you Site Management for plugin and theme updates, performance tracking, security alerts and database optimisation on sites you connect, wherever they are hosted. Host Cloud gives you the server. You can buy either, both or neither. If you are weighing One against Pro, we wrote a full breakdown in Is Elementor One Worth It?, and we do not repeat it here. The only hosting-specific point is that choosing One does not save you a hosting bill, because the pricing page says it contains none.

What To Pair It With

Elementor Free Or Elementor Pro

The Host plan gives you the free Elementor plugin immediately. Whether you need Pro depends on features, not on the host. Elementor’s pricing page lists Theme Builder, Form Builder, Popup Builder, custom code and eCommerce features as Pro-side capabilities, with some limited on Essential. If you only need page layouts, the free plugin plus a good addon may be enough. If you need native Theme Builder and dynamic content, budget for a licence, and use the table above to see the combined cost.

Widgets And Builders From The Plus Addons For Elementor

The Plus Addons for Elementor adds 120+ widgets and 1000+ templates on top of Elementor, along with a header and footer builder, mega menu, popup builder and a WooCommerce store builder, according to its own site. These are separate from anything in the host plan, so they are a way to widen what you can build without changing your host. If you are weighing a custom header, see the Header Builder for Elementor page, and for the free route to site-wide templates, our guide to the Elementor theme builder without Pro shows what is possible.

See plan options on The Plus Addons for Elementor pricing page before you decide, since a hosting plan plus a Pro licence plus an addon is three line items, and they add up.

A Separate CDN Is Usually Unnecessary

Because Host Cloud includes Cloudflare Enterprise CDN, adding another CDN on top rarely helps, and may complicate caching. Our practical guide to whether you need a CDN for WordPress explains how to decide for sites on other hosts.

Our Verdict

Elementor Host is a credible managed WordPress host with a well-chosen feature list, a documented exit path (Elementor’s FAQ says you can move your site to any provider without restrictions) and one practical advantage: a single vendor for the server and the builder. It is not the bundle that older guides describe. You will buy the Elementor licence separately, you should do the bandwidth arithmetic for your own pages, and you should read the incompatible plugins list before you migrate.

For a solo builder or a small agency that values simplicity over server-level control, it deserves a place on the shortlist. For a high-traffic or tool-heavy site, compare it with at least two other managed hosts using real page weights. And whichever host you choose, the pair that moves the needle on speed is a lightweight build and a decent cache, not the logo on the hosting invoice.
