There are some really exciting things coming your way.
Let’s start with forms.
We know how important it is to have a phone number field with a proper country code. While this isn’t available in Elementor Core, we’ve been working on it in our Form and it’s almost ready.
You’ll soon be able to set a country code by default or let it auto detect based on the visitor’s location.
Now moving on to templates. The import process is getting a big makeover and you’ll notice the difference right away. It’s going to feel smoother, faster, and much easier to use.
And that’s not all. We’re also preparing a completely new way of importing templates using AI that will feel smarter and more intuitive than ever before.
Exciting times are ahead and we’re looking forward to sharing all of this with you very soon.

🗞️ — WordPress & Tech Bytes
- Elementor 3.31 brings Editor V4 Alpha features like reusable color and font variables, CSS and backdrop filters, a new Divider element, and better class management. These updates help users design faster and more consistently, especially on test sites.
- WordPress released maintenance updates for branches 4.7 to 6.7, adding an updated root security certificate bundle to improve HTTP request security. Sites with auto-updates will update automatically, while others can update manually. The latest supported version remains 6.8.2.
- The 2025 WordPress Hosting Survey invites hosting providers to share insights on their technology, security, support, and WordPress experience. It also covers eCommerce features and reliability. The collected data will help update WordPress.org hosting recommendations.
- Google’s Gary Illyes explained that Google avoids using external signals like social shares in its ranking because they can be manipulated and are outside of Google’s control. He emphasized that relying solely on controllable internal signals ensures the integrity and reliability of search results.
- Google cautioned businesses against using generic, keyword-heavy domains, saying they can hurt visibility and brand identity. It advised choosing unique names and using content, structured data, or Google Business Profiles for local targeting instead.
- Google’s Gary Illyes emphasized that AI-generated content is acceptable as long as it undergoes human editorial review to ensure accuracy and quality. He clarified that “human curated” is a more accurate term than “human created,” stressing the need for oversight before publishing.
- Google confirmed that AI-generated images, when used alongside legitimate content, do not cause SEO penalties or directly harm rankings. While these images use server resources, they may even boost traffic via image search, and there’s no direct negative impact from using them.
- Google’s search advocates recommend giving each key image its own crawlable landing page with unique descriptions, because gallery setups using JavaScript or URL fragments can limit visibility in image search. Responsive images and modern formats help page performance but don’t directly affect rankings.
- Google rolled out the August 2025 spam update to improve search quality by targeting spammy content. The update may take weeks to complete, and site owners are advised to monitor Search Console without making drastic changes.

Great plugin for a developer
I bought the plugin just for some specific features, I’m positively surprised that it includes more then what I expected, including performance tools, which are extremely important to deliver a professinal website, plus the support has been really good.
