- WP Engine has been banned again from WordPress.org, prompting the company to announce on X that “thousands of WordPress community members have once again been blocked from accessing WordPress.org.”
- WooCommerce 9.3 is set to include a remote error logging system, enhanced wp-admin stability, optimizations for the coming soon mode, and additional features. The pre-release updates indicate that WooCommerce 9.3 is scheduled for release on September 10, 2024.
- Researchers warn Google users of a surge in “malvertising” campaigns, where search results are being exploited to spread malware and phishing scams.
