## Before You Start

- **Edition:** **Pro** — the Expand & Collapse Button is part of The Plus Addons for Elementor Pro. In the free plugin the option shows an upgrade notice instead of working.- **Widget to enable:** Accordion, switched on under **The Plus Addons > Widgets**.

## Steps

- Add the Accordion widget and your items.- In **Content > Special Option**, turn on **Expand & Collapse Button** and click the pencil next to it.- Set **Position** (**Before** or **After** the items), the **Expand** and **Collapse** labels (default “Expand All” and “Collapse All”) and the **Alignment**.- Style it in **Style > Expand/Collapse Button**.

Publish. The button now opens every item, and a second click closes them all.

## How It Behaves

- The label switches between your Expand and Collapse texts.- After expanding all, clicking one item goes back to normal: that item opens and the others close.- With the Search Bar, the button only opens or closes the items that match the search.
