> *Note: Make sure you’ve enabled both WP Search Filters and Product Listing widgets from **The Plus Addons **> **Widgets***

Place the widgets in your desired location on the page or template, then follow the steps -

1. In the Product Listing widget, select **Search List **from the **Product Listing Types** dropdown.

3. In the WP Search Filters widget, open the **Category** item under the **Filter Area**.

4. From the **Filter Type** dropdown, select **Filter Meta** and select **Filter Tag **from the **Select Source** dropdown.

5. Then click on the **+ Add Item** button to add another item and from the **Filter Type** dropdown, select **Filter Meta** and select **Filter Reset **from the **Select Source** dropdown.

By enabling the **Fix Reset Button** toggle you can always show a reset button.

## Frequently Asked Questions

**Q: What if the reset button doesn't appear after adding it?**
A: If the reset button isn't showing, ensure that you've enabled the Fix Reset Button toggle in the WP Search Filters widget settings. This toggle must be activated for the reset button to display. Additionally, confirm that you've correctly added the WP Search Filters widget alongside the Product Listing widget, as both are required for the reset functionality to work.

**Q: Can I use the reset button with other WooCommerce filters?**
A: The reset button created with the WP Search Filters widget is specifically designed to work with the filters applied through that widget. If you are using other filter types, like WP Filter or Woo Filter, ensure they are configured correctly alongside the WP Search Filters widget to maintain functionality. This integration allows users to reset all filters seamlessly.

**Q: What is the best way to position the reset button on my page?**
A: Positioning the reset button effectively can enhance user experience. In the WP Search Filters widget, you can manage the Tag Position of the reset button. Consider placing it prominently near the filter options, so users can easily find it after applying filters. This visibility encourages users to reset their selections without frustration.

**Q: What happens if I forget to enable the WP Search Filters widget?**
A: If you forget to enable the WP Search Filters widget, the reset button will not function as intended. The reset functionality relies on this widget being active alongside the Product Listing widget. Without it, users won't have the option to reset their filter selections, which could lead to a frustrating experience.
