Do you want a designed page for each blog category? A category archive shows every post in the category a visitor opened, and one template does it for all your categories at once.
With an archive template and the Blog/Post Listing widget from The Plus Addons for Elementor, the listing reads the current category automatically.

Before You Start
- Edition: Pro — the Archive Page listing type is part of The Plus Addons for Elementor Pro. In the free plugin this control does not appear in the panel at all.
- An archive template. Create one with the free Nexter Builder or with Elementor Pro’s Theme Builder, and set it to display on category archives.
- Widget to enable: Blog/Post Listing, switched on under ThePlus Settings > Widgets.
Step 1: Create the archive template
In Nexter Builder or Elementor Pro’s Theme Builder, create an Archive template and set its display condition to All Categories, or to specific ones. Open it in Elementor.
Step 2: Add the widget and choose Archive Page
Drag the Blog/Post Listing widget into the template. In Content > Layout, set Post Listing Types to Archive Page.
You do not pick a category here. The widget uses whichever category archive the visitor is on.
Step 3: Choose the style and layout
Pick a Style and Layout in the same section. Pagination or Load More, in Content > More Post Options, works on archives too.
Step 4: Publish and check a category
Publish the template, then open any category on the front end, such as /category/news/. Only that category’s posts appear.
The same widget also works on tag archives, author archives and search results templates. Archive Page reads whatever archive is open and lists its posts.

Limitations
- Pro only. Post Listing Types does not appear in the free plugin.
- Needs a theme builder. The widget lists the posts; the archive template that decides where it shows comes from Nexter Builder or Elementor Pro.
- Query controls are hidden. On Archive Page, the category, tag, exclude and offset controls in Content Source disappear, because the archive decides the posts.
- No category filter. Category Wise Filter is not available on Archive Page listings — the page is already one category.
Troubleshooting
The archive shows all posts, not one category
Post Listing Types is still Normal Page. Set it to Archive Page.
The archive shows my theme’s layout, not the template
Check the template’s display condition covers category archives, and that it is published.
