# How to Create a Wishlist Page for Custom or Any Other Post Type in Elementor?

## Before You Start

- **Prerequisite:** [Elementor](https://wordpress.org/plugins/elementor/) (free) installed and active.- **Edition:** Dynamic Listing is a **Pro** widget - it needs The Plus Addons for Elementor Pro installed and its license activated. It will not appear in the free plugin.- **Widget to enable:** go to **The Plus Addons > Widgets**, search for **Dynamic Listing** and turn its toggle on.

## Steps

- Add a bookmark/favorite button to your post cards elsewhere on the site (a separate Dynamic Listing instance or card control that writes to the same wishlist).- Build a dedicated **Wishlist** page and add the **Dynamic Listing** widget to it.- Set **Post Listing Types** to **Wishlist**.

**Unique Name** ties the wishlist widget instance to the matching bookmark buttons elsewhere on the site (default `tpwishlist`) - keep this the same across both if you use more than one wishlist on the site.

- Where the bookmark itself is stored (cookie vs. logged-in user meta) and whether it persists across devices for a logged-in visitor was not confirmed in this pass.- The full bookmark round-trip was not built end-to-end in this pass. Confirmed: the widget's own front-end script reads a visitor's saved product IDs from `localStorage`, keyed by the exact **Unique Name** value (verified in the plugin's own JS and confirmed the rendered widget's `data-wid` attribute matches it exactly). Seeding that localStorage key directly still showed "No Post Found" in this pass, meaning an additional step (likely an AJAX call this harness didn't trigger) is needed before saved items actually render - a real bookmark button click on a live page may behave differently than this direct-seed test.
