Blog Builder is a set of 7 free widgets in The Plus Addons for Elementor that let you design your own single-post and archive blog templates piece by piece.
Instead of one big “blog” widget, each part of a post – title, content, featured image, meta, author box, comments and prev/next navigation – is its own widget you drop into a template built with the free Nexter Builder or Elementor Pro.
Requirement – This widget is a part of The Plus Addons for Elementor, make sure it’s installed & activated to enjoy all its powers.
Before You Start
- Prerequisite: Elementor (free) installed and active.
- Template builder: use the free Nexter Builder, or Elementor Pro if you already have it, to build the single-post/archive template these widgets are placed into.
- Edition: all Blog Builder widgets are free – they work with just The Plus Addons for Elementor installed, no Pro licence required.
How to Activate the Widgets
Go to The Plus Addons > Widgets, search for each widget name below and turn its toggle on.

How It Fits Together
- Build (or edit) a single-post template with Nexter Builder or Elementor Pro’s Theme Builder.
- Drop in the Blog Builder widgets you need, in the order you want them to appear.
- Each widget has its own Types/Post Types control – most support both Single Page and Archive Page templates, so the same widget set can be reused across your single-post and category/tag archive templates.
