# How to Add a Category Wise Filter in Social Reviews in Elementor?

## 

- Adds a category filter to the Social Reviews widget from The Plus Addons for Elementor.
- Enables filtering of reviews by category through the Filter Option tab after adding categories to Social Reviews items.
- Customizes filter label text and styles using the Category Filter Style and Filter Hover Style dropdowns.

Do you want to add a category filter to your social review wall in Elmentor? If you are displaying reviews from multiple sources, adding a category filter can make it easier for users to check reviews from a particular source.

With the Social Reviews widget from The Plus Addons for Elementor, you can easily add a category filter to your social review wall.

To do this, add the Social Reviews widget on the page and follow the steps - 

1. From the **Type** dropdown, select **Reviews**, then select the appropriate style and layout (except Carousel) for the reviews.

2. Make sure to add a category in all the Social Reviews items.

3. Then go to the **Filter Option** tab, and turn on the **Category Wise Filter** toggle.

Now, you’ll be able to see filter options in your reviews that you can use to filter the reviews by category.

From the **All Filter Category** **Text** field, you can edit the text to show all the reviews.

You can also select different predefined styles for the category filter labels for normal and hover states from the **Category Filter Style** and **Filter Hover Style** dropdowns, respectively. 

From the **Filter Alignment** section, you can align the filter.
